Changing the world with ping pong!

The BAT Foundation have been working with the BBC on their fantastic new two part documentary ‘How to Stay Young’ which starts tonight at 9pm on BBC One!

Angela Rippon and Dr Chris van Tulleken travel the world to investigate the latest experiments and research that could help put the brakes on the ageing process. Tonight is all about keeping the body young, with next Thursday’s show focusing on keeping the brain young…and this is where the work of BAT comes in!

As part of their investigation Angela and Chris take a look at what benefits playing table tennis has on the brain…all inspired by what BAT are doing with our Drug Free Alzheimer’s Therapy programme!

Filmed partly at Bounce and with our partners at King’s College London, 11 seniors are taken through 10 weeks of table tennis play by our BAT coaches Olav and Mariola to see how this ageless sport keeps the mind happy!
